Project boot up is a process we follow in the project management. It is the best opportunity to energize the team, set a common goal, and start understanding pulse of customer.
Project Boot Up Preamble
Before the project kickoff, the project manager speaks to the deployment manager for the resources to be identified and allocated. Project Manager get the signed NDA contract with each resources who are working directly or indirectly on this. He then give access to the central repository for each resources to download the project relevant documents.
There is an internal meeting scheduled before the kick off meeting, attended by the solution architect, sales team, project manager, delivery manager and the development team. Here the knowledge about the project is transferred from the sales team to the delivery team. A high level project planning and risk analysis is done
Project Kick off Postamble
After the successful completion of the project kick off, in the initial analysis phases of the development, team meets up frequently to set up the repeated calls with the customer and identify any gap in the scope of work prepared by the TipEnter solution team.
On freezing the scope of works, the project manager who is the single point of contact from TipEnter, will share the detailed project plan along with risk management plans and requirement specification document.
Here onwards the agile scrum methodology is followed immaterial of the project size.
